Staff Assistant, New Mexico Pre-K Evaluation

Irene offers administrative support for the National Children's Study and the Research and Evaluation Division. She provides administrative support to the Director and several professional staff members and the several projects that are under their direction. Her duties include helping with poster presentations, reports, grants, transcribing, correspondence, filing, and other miscellaneous duties. She helps oversee project and travel reimbursements, dissemination of articles, parent payments, etc. Irene has been with USU since September, 1990. She is the mother of three girls and one boy, and the grandmother (nana) of 10. Her husband Keith was medically retired from the military after 20 years of service.  She enjoys golfing, reading, cross stitch, sunsets, and camping.  But most of all, her biggest joy is spending time with her family.
