Project Details

This project developed several guides designed to assist Centers for Independent Living to adequately prepare their center for emergencies and to recover after an emergency. One guide will focus on agency preparation (infrastructure, staff, and individuals with disabilities) prior to an emergency and will also provide recovery strategies. A second guide focuses on how agencies providing supports to individuals with disabilities can be a partner in the emergency preparedness activities at the community level.
