Project Context
Part B is the section of the IDEA which deals with children ages 3 through 21 years-old receiving special education and/or related services.

There are 20 baseline indicators to determine the successful implementation of IDEA regulations. Indicator 8 focuses on schools facilitating parent involvement of parents with a child receiving special education services as a means of improving services and results for children with disabilities.

Project Focus
TAESE will provide the Parent Survey analysis and reporting for Indicator 8: Parent Involvement for the District of Columbia Education Department.
