Project Details
The Center for Persons with Disabilities has teamed with the Utah State Office of Risk Management, Salt Lake County Government, and the Utah Local Governments Trust to offer several disability access training events to interested municipal and county employees and elected officials. During 2006/2007 we will train approximately 60 municipal officials/employees regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Participants will demonstrate their knowledge gains during and following the training event using a post-test instrument. Thirty to forty-five days following the training, participants will be surveyed again to evaluate their retention and use of the knowledge gained during the training.
