CNP trains providers in nutrition guidelines

Licensed family home child care providers in Utah can receive free training in standards of quality day care and nutrition program guidelines through the Child Care Nutrition Program at the CPD.

The CCNP assists eligible family child care providers in offering nutritious meals to children ages 12 and under or adults with a verified disability who receive care in a licensed day care home.

Child care providers who are enrolled in this program are reimbursed for the meals they have served to children and also receive food program training each year and given additional support and technical assistance.

To find out if you are eligible to participate in this program and receive this training and reimbursement, contact Jeanie Peck, Director of the CCNP.
