360 ON/OFF Provides Savings Program

The Disability Support Center for Families (360 ON/OFF), a project from the CPD, provides a way for individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet and make their dreams come true through the Utah Individual Developmental Account Network program.

Individual Development Accounts, IDA's, are established to give eligible families and individuals an opportunity to achieve their goals by supplementing, or "matching" a participant's savings deposits at a 3:1 rate. For every dollar saved by the family or individual, another 3 dollars are added to the total account balance. These funds are made available to participants when they are ready for any ONE of the following items: 1) purchase of a first home; 2) start-up of a small business; or 3) beginning or furthering education.

IDA's are designed to help families and individuals of modest means establish a pattern of regular savings, acquire personal and financial skills, and build a more stable and secure future.
