360 ON/OFF Center Benefitted Many Families Through the Years
CPD's Project
Disability Support Center for Families (360 ON/OFF)The Disability Support Center for Families (360 ON/OFF) operated for over 4 years and was a program designed to help persons with disabilities and their families obtain services. The Center, a project developed through the CPD, was located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and offered guidance to consumers who needed to apply for services and resources. Services included healthcare, food stamps, legal services, cash assistance, transportation, and others, at no cost to the individual.
The 360 ON/OFF Center also offered educational and training services, including skill training, English classes, and training for a Graduate Equivalency Degree. Guidance was provided in English and Spanish through one-on-one sessions with persons with disabilities and family members.
Although the The Disability Support Center's funding has ended, it answered a great need in the Salt Lake City community and provided service to many people with disabilities and their families over the years.
