ASSERT preschool is a model for others

The ASSERT preschool for children with autism has become a model program for other preschools in Utah.

They have established a partnership with the Granite School District in Salt Lake City and will be working with them over the next few years to build an ASSERT model training classroom in their district.

With the rate of autism on the rise in Utah as well as across the United States, more classrooms focusing on the specific needs of young children diagnosed with this disorder are needed.

The ASSERT preschool classroom offers children interventions that will help them with their language, behavior, and social skills, all areas challenging areas for children with autism.
