Zachary Benson has worked in the Center for Persons with Disabilities, Biomedical Laboratory since September 2008. His current lab project is studying the genetic markers of preterm birth. He is majoring in Nutritional Science and expected to graduate from Utah State University in fall 2010. His other lab experience is at the Nevada Genetics Laboratory, summer 2009, researching genes on chromosome 7 involved in Williams Syndrome. Zach plans to pursue an MD after graduation. His other interests are motocross, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and tennis.
