Stanford Clelland is Coordinator of the UATP Assistive Technology laboratory, a a state-of-the-art computer lab and fabrication shop where individuals can test various software and hardware devices, or find assistance to design, fabricate, modify or repair AT equipment to enable a person to be more independent. The lab also serves as a training site for USU students. Stan creates and modifies AT devices for a multitude of purposes, and is capable of building most anything the CPD's clients need.

Clelland has degrees in agribusiness and education, and is a nationally certified Assistive Technology Supplier (ATS). He has worked at USU for five years and was awarded the Top Professor Award by the Mortar Board Society and Utah State University in 2007.

For Clelland, the joy of his job at the CPD extends beyond the tinkering--Stan says the real payoff is to see the difference his work can make in a person's lifestyle!
