Jeff Sheen received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Social Work from Utah State University in May of 1999. He completed his Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Utah in May 2002 and his Ph.D. in Disability Discipline in May 2017 at Utah State Univeristy. He currently the Associate Director of the CPD's Research and Training Division where he has worked since 2001. Jeff has a particular interest in community development and has been involved in directing and evaluating a number of projects designed to improve community resources for individuals with disabilities and their families. During the past 17 years Jeff has had multiple opportunities to develop and provide training on a wide variety of disability related issues to local, state, and national audiences. Some of Jeff's current projects include Aggies Elevated Inclusive Postsecondary Education Program, the Utah Postsecondary Inclusion Project/Utah Tranisition Action Team, and CPD Disability Policy Team.  Jeff also serves as the Chair of Senator Hatch's Disability Advisory Committee and is the Vice-Chair of the Utah Statewide Independent Living Council. Additionally, Jeff serves on the CPD Leadership Team, is a consultant on several other state and national projects and is adjunct faculty in the Departments of Psychology, Special Education and Rehabilitation, and Social Work. Jeff and his family love living in Cache Valley and enjoy mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, and all sorts of outdoor activities.
