Amy has worked on several CPD projects over the last 15 years. She has worked with the IDT and Exemplary Service Divisions in coordinating several off campus programs in the Salt Lake area such as the Disability Support Center for Families, the Emergency Preparedness Project and the Military 360 Project. Currently she is the Project Manager for the Advocates as Leaders, Self Advocay Speaker's Network. The Network is a group of trained speakers with developmental and intellectual disabilities that focus on providing information and experiences related to disability issues, presented through their eyes. Amy has been a professional in the field of disabilities for 30+ years working for non-profit, local and state agencies. She has extensive training, experience and knowledge surrounding individual/famlly support issues, person/family centered practice, consumer and family advocacy and developing systems that promote self determination and empowerment.
