10th National Self-Advocacy Conference

The Self Advocates Becoming Empowered organization, (SABE) is holding their 2010 National Self-Advocacy Conference:  Celebrating 20 Years of Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered  on September 23-26 in Kansas City, Missouri. 

The goal of the 2010 SABE conference is to celebrate past accomplishments of the self-advocacy movement and to work together to develop strategies for full citizenship for people with disabilities in the U.S. 

Presentations will focus on topics that improve the lives of people with disabliities in the three focus areas: Self-advocacy, Self-determination, or Social capital.  For more information about submitting a proposal, contact
