Transition Roundtable 2010

The Utah State Office of Education is holding their 2010 Transition Roundtables on October 26, 2010 at the Salt Lake City Red Lion Hotel and October 28 at the Iron County District Office from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided.

These Roundtables offer educators, parents, agency representatives and
higher education staff the opportunity to learn more about employment options for individuals who need extra support.  Information will be presented by Tricia Jones-Parkin, Customized Employment Specialist and Certified Benefits Planner with DSPD.

Roundtable participants will also have the opportunity to be part of an informal focus group to offer suggestions for improving transition services state-wide in the short term and long term.
