Mac Accessibility for the Blind Training

The Utah Assistive Technology Program at USU is offering online, interactive trainings for free.  The first training, Mac Accessibility for the Blind, will be held on October 13, 2010, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. RSVP is needed by October 11

The presenter will cover the Apple Macintosh line of products and how they are now accessible to the Blind and Visually Impaired. Apple Macbook Pro using Voiceover, the Snow Leopard Operating System will also be demonstrated and similarities and differences to Windows will be shared. Voiceover on the Internet using the Apple web browser called Safari, the built in word processor Text Edit and iTunes will finally be demonstrated.

In order to participate, you will need a computer with high-speed internet access.   If you are interested in participating please RSVP by the Monday before the training, October 11, to Heather Young.
