27th Annual Conference on Assistive Technology

Closing the Gap, an organization that focuses on assistive technology for people with special needs through its bimonthly magazine, annual international conference and extensive Web site, is sponsoring its 27th Annual Conference on AT "Closing the Gap."

This conference will be held on October 15-17, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with preconference workshops held on October 13-14.

Over the years, this annual assistive technology conference has become known as one of the best AT conferences in North America. Over 200 sessions will describe and/or demonstrate successful applications of AT for persons disabilities and examine the current research, computer hardware & software, adaptive devices, and model programs presented by experts in the field of AT.
