Transportation Conference on USU Campus

The Utah Urban Rural Specialized Transportation Association (URSTA) is sponsoring their 2010 Spring Conference at Logan, Utah on the USU campus on May 13-14, 2010. 

There will be a mock "Bus Rollover and Emergency Disaster" scenario for emergency personnel to respond to during the conference.  The USTRA will also provide a Driver and Management Training which will include:
-Hands on Emergency Response and Emergency Evacuation.
-Hands on Fire Extinguisher Training.
-Driving Simulator... Practice driving in many situations in this state of the art simulator.

URSTA is a statewide organization that began in 1988. Their goal is to build a strong network of fixed route and specialized transportation services. They provide training, education, advocacy and networking for transit providers and their employees in Utah and surrounding states.
