Family Links Southwest 2010 Conference

The Utah Parent Center and its collaborative partners are hosting the Family Links Southwest Conference on May 6, 2010 in St. George, Utah.

The Family Links Conferences provides information, resources, and support for families of individuals with disabilities and special needs.

There are five breakout sessions to choose from this year:

1)  Keeping it Safe: Managing Escalating and Aggressive Behaviorpresented by Marian Hunt, TKJ, Inc.; 2)  Everyone Can: Community Awareness and Education Curriculum presented by LuWenn Jones, Disability Law Center; 3)  Dyslexia is a Specific Learning Disabilitypresented by Linda Smith, Utah Parent Center; 4)  Parents as Partners in the IEP Processpresented by Louise Ogden, Utah Parent Center; and 5)  Funding Special Needs - Navigating the Mazepresented by Gina Pola-Money, Utah Family Voices
