Public Hearings for Input on Proposed Amendments to the Utah Special Education Rules

The Utah State Office of Education (USOE) will be holding public hearings to take input on amendments to the USOE Special Education Rules. These changes will align the USOE Special Education Rules with recent amendments to the Federal Regulations of the IDEIA 34 CFR Part 300.

Public hearings are scheduled to take place in the following locations:
Thursday, July 30, 2009 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., St. George, Utah
Washington County School District Office Board Room on Tabernacle Street

Monday, August 3, 2009 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Ogden, Utah,
Ogden School District Office Board Room, 1950 Monroe Boulevard

Monday, August 10, 2009 5:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m. Salt lake City, Utah, Utah State Office of Education Board Room, 250 East 500 South, Live and Online via WIMBA

Tuesday August 18, 2009 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Utah Parent Center Online via WIMBA
