30th Annual Kansas Division for Early Childhood Conference

The 30th annual Kansas Division for Early Childhood Conference will be held on February 23-24, 2012 in Wichita, KA.

The Kansas DEC is a subdivision of the Division for Early Childhood of the International Council for Exceptional Children, dedicated to promoting policies and practices that support families and enhance the optimal development of young children with exceptionalities.

The conference will present the evidence and present practical strategies that provide effective services for young children and their families.  Topics include: cultural diversity, policy, transition, best practices, assistive technology, early self-determination, concious discipline, vision, hearing, mental health, and much more.  Over fifty presentations and round tables will be offered.
