Disability Film Series: So Much So Fast

The Disability Law Center and its co-sponsors are presenting a film and lecture series called LOUD & CLEAR: Voices from the Disability Community. This series presents fresh and unique stories about people living with disabilities.

The next in the film series will be held on December 16, 2009, with a film called SO MUCH SO FAST, directed by Steven Ascher and Jeanne Jordan.  This film is about the remarkable events set in motion when Stephen Heywood discovered he had the paralyzing neural disorder ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).  Stephen's brother creates a research group in order to find a drug to help his brother with his disease before it is too late.

The screening will begin at 7:00 p.m. Each film will be followed by a post-screening discussion. These screenings are free.

All screenings will be held at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts - Dumke Auditorium at 410 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City, UT. Free, accessible parking is located near the Auditorium. All films will be captioned, have audio commentary and sign language interpreters will be available for the discussions.
