Introduction to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Teleconference
A teleconference to raise awareness of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and to build support for this important international agreement is being offered by the United States International Council on Disabilities (USICD) on April 16, 2010, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. ET.
This event is aimed at individuals who may be new to the content of the treaty and would like to learn more. If you want to know what a treaty is, what the CRPD is about, and how it can help protect the human rights of people with disabilities, this session is for you!
