The Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE), a division of the CPD, is holding their annual Utah Institute on Special Education Law on August 2-3, 2010 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, in Ogden, Utah.
This annual conference is a valuable opportunity for administrators, educators, service providers, parents, families, to keep updated about the implementation of IDEA 2004.
Among the many topics that will be covered are developing IEPs that provide FAPE and are legally compliant, what educators need to know about autism, 504 eligibility, and basic IDEA for Charter Schools.
