Division Information
The Exemplary Services Division provides educational and psychological testing for people of all ages, and serves as a training site for graduate students in the Utah State University psychology department interested in pursuing careers in child psychology. While there is a strong emphasis on diagnosing childhood disabilities and psychopathologies, evaluations are also conducted for people referred by agencies such as Vocational Rehabilitation and Social Security Disability Determination Services. The Speech Development Laboratory, housed within the Exemplary Services Division, focuses on developmental processes in speech perception and production, and what goes wrong in those processes for children with a range of risk factors.
